Location Strategy - Where to Place Air Purifier?
What is the best location for an air purifier? Is there a recommended air purifier placement strategy? Here are a few simple tips for you.
Know your air purifier's coverage area
Place it in an area/room using manufacture's recommended coverage area.
Put in an open area - avoid tight space and cornerSince most air purifiers have an intake near the front of the machine, you want it to be able to have access to all sides of the room. Remember to have the filtered air (fresh air) flow towards you.
Put it close to the pollution source if possibleWhether it is kitchen (removing odors), living room (dust, pet dander), or entryway (catch outside pollutants right away), make sure you still follow the tips above.
Select a quiet model for the Bedroom unless you like the white noise for sleepIf you are sensitive to noise, make sure you have a quiet or silent model for the bedroom, where you spend a lot of time. Also place it six to ten feet away from head of bed.
For portable unit, put it on top of furniture (no tripping accidents)Always put it in a location where people don't accidentally trip over it.
